Q. What would you like to state about the Vision and Mission of Hyundai Construction Equipment Pvt. Ltd.?

Vision

Achieving, sustaining & reinforcing leadership position in Construction & Material Handling equipment industry by offering innovative Equipment and Service Solution to our customers.

Q. What is the telematics solution you added recently to your equipment for the up gradation of your equipment performance?

Our telematics viz. HIMATE is the most advanced one among the ones available. It enables advanced features like geo fencing, geo location, fuel consumption, running hours and other operating parameters of the equipment. Customers can access them very conveniently on their mobile phones or on the computer systems.

 

Q. In what various ways Hyundai Construction Equipment is contributing to Sustainability?

On the product front, we manufacture fuel efficient products that contribute to the sustainability of fossil fuels that are scarce. We are coming out with products that control the emissions. On the production front we are in constant endeavor to save electricity by adding more efficiency in our processes. Also we use solar power for some portion of our requirement. As part of our corporate social responsibility we contribute to the sustainable development especially in areas like water for drinking and agriculture. This is done in the locality closer to Chakan, Pune where we are located.

 

Q. ‘Hyundai is a one stop shop with 3S facilities.’ Please elaborate the statement along with the customer support offered on your part?

Q. Aside from India, which are the other areas of dealer networking of Hyundai Construction Equipment pvt. Ltd.?

We have a good network globally. Hyundai Construction Equipment India controls the dealer network in the neighboring countries of Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Srilanka. We are # 1 player in Nepal.

 

Q. List some challenges you are facing currently and the measures taken by you for the prevention of these barriers?

One of the key challenges faced are of the depreciated rupee - leading to higher cost of imported components. We are over coming this by increasing our efforts on localization and also exporting our equipment to offset some of the effect of these.

 

Q. What are your expectations from BC? How ‘Hyundai Construction Equipment’ is going to contribute in this exhibition. Does it help you to make revenue?

BC India is a good opportunity for us to showcase our product range especially to the customers in Northern part of India. Being in the national capital region it also gives the opportunity for the infrastructure policy makers and senior government officials to come over and see the latest technology and solutions available.
